JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: AGM / DGM ( Projects Planning, Co-ordination)Reporting to Executive Vice President (Global Projects and Engineering )

Job

Purpose:Coordinating with project and Engineering team; and overseeing project implementation, financial and administrative oversight, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation of the project.

Tasks

& Responsibilities:

Monitoring, Coordination and Administration :Provides oversight of project implementation including all activities, outputs, and outcomes related to project management and administration, including reporting, budget development and monitoring, financial transactions, execution of project plans, and project performance for successful implementation of project activities.Preparing & finalizing of Schedule for the projects with internal and external stakeholders right from Feasibility, Conceptual, Basic and Detailed Engineering stages of the projectsUpdating the project & preparing the reports for on-going, incoming activities.Preparing the requirement checklist for the incoming tasks and communicating with the site team.Timely intervention Communicating with the Contractor about the timely requirement resources including Machine, Material & Labor.Assist in updation of Procurement control sheet (PCS) and Material Control Sheet (MCS) and timely addressing delaysTimely flag off projects Challenges and mitigation measures.Consulting with the team for ensuring the control measures implementation of project using Primavera.Project Review Meeting is carried out with the respective stakeholders about the status of the project and control measures were derived for timely completion of project.Maintaining & Implementing Issue & Risk register.Preparation of micro-plan schedule for critical structures.Manage project scoping and helped to support the identification and documentation of out-of-scope activities.Engineering Excellence: Energy conservation mapping, controlling Trending for P&F, ConsumablesSupport the Project team to produce specified results in the project timeline workplan(s) to the required standard of quality and within the timeline and budget parameters.Oversees budget pipeline development and budget monitoring.Coordinates monthly reviews to ensure flawless all project activities as well as the accurate and timely reporting of financial deliverables and obligations.

RepresentationActs as the principle project contact person and liaison, ensuring the project is represented progressively to the internal and external stakeholders.Coordinates organizational relationship with financial stakeholders and meet the necessary standards of operations.To ensure compliance with programmatic targets and deliverables.Promotes the project through advocacy and presentations.

Technical LeadershipStrong Exposure of Large Greenfield Project and Brown Field Projects.Should have worked on end-to-end project management cycle (From Conceptualization till Commissioning).Should have worked on project budget finalization, monitoring & Control.Advises on primary engineering capabilities, progress and improvements.Establishes and coordinate with team with all the relevant disciplines and operational staff, including team engagement , crisis management , and navigate thru adversities.Develops a detailed implementation plan in sync with execution team in line with the agreed scope and resources.Oversees development of a monitoring and evaluation plan for the successive phases of the project to capture project performance and results.

Required:Technical Skills:Demonstrated diplomatic, management, and communication skills to liaise and advocate with contractors, internal stakeholders, financial stakeholder, thought leaders, and other implementing agencies.Proven ability to write technical reports and program documents, and deliver.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to communicate cross-culturally.Experience in Coordination, implementing, and evaluating multi-million projects.

Behavioural Skills:Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to communicate cross-culturally.Experience managing, designing, implementing, and evaluating multi-million projects

Preferred Key Skill :Well-versed in Project Management & Sound proficiency over PPP Projects.Well-versed managing the Client’s and Consultant’s interface.Experience in handling the Project Plan for Large value capital projects, muti-location, Plant Capex.Primavera P6 EPPM, Primavera Contract Management, MS-Project, AutoCAD

Professional

Qualifications:BE / ME in Mechanical /Electrical engineering from a reputed institute.

Experience

Required:Minimum 10-15 Years of experience in the required field in Pharmaceutical plant, preferably injectables and OSD
