Considering that many public facing events to be organised across the state, the person needs to be:


  • Conversant with the Kannada literary and cultural sphere of the State
  • Communication - Strong ability to read, write and speak in Kannada and English
  • Data Management – Ability to maintain data and event requirements on spreadsheet, powerpoint etc
  • Networking - Building relationships with diverse set of stakeholders - individuals and institutions outside and within the University
  • Organisation skills – Multitasking and attention to detail while identifying appropriate location, right set of speakers/performers and mobilising people for the events
  • Project management capability – plan and execute programs with quality with available resources


For Anuvada Sampada:

  • Engage with resources and documents and promote them appropriately with relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare synopsis of the content to be used for promotions – both digital and physical forms
  • Organise public events and seminars and panel discussions around Anuvada Sampada materials
  • Network with translators and reviewers for ensuring quality translations
  • Ability to translate/ check and validate quality of translation and suggest improvements


Willingness to travel extensively is essential; last two points under Anuvada Sampada are desirable.
