Role Overview

We're seeking an exceptional UI/UX Designer to transform our digital user experiences into engaging, accessible, and easy-to-navigate platforms for our readership.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  2. Design and create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
  3. Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
  4. Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the user experience.
  6. Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs and provide support during the development process.
  7. Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs.
  8. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. 2 to 5 years of experience in UI/UX design.
  2. Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.
  3. Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices.
  4. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design coding languages.
  5. Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
  6. Ability to create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
