Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Data modelling and Data Analysis, with a strong background in MSBI technologies, particularly SQL and SSIS. The candidate should also possess expertise in Data Vault modelling and a solid understanding of Data warehouse concepts.


Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in data modelling and analysis to design and develop efficient and scalable data solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in MSBI technologies, with a focus on SQL and SSIS, to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses.
  • Apply knowledge of Data Vault modelling techniques to design and implement robust and flexible data models.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Leverage domain knowledge in the banking sector to develop tailored data solutions that meet industry-specific needs.
  • Utilize strong SQL skills to optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance on best practices and methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering, reporting tools, and cloud technologies.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data modeling, data analysis, and MSBI technologies, with a focus on SQL and SSIS.
  • Proven experience with Data Vault modeling techniques.
  • Experience in the banking domain is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and handle critical issues effectively.
  • Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with reporting tools and cloud technologies is a plus.
