Steward (Waiter)

Job Summary:
The Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role requires attentiveness, good communication, and maintaining service standards of the restaurant/hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort guests to their tables in a professional manner.
- Present menus, explain specials, and make recommendations when requested.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and as per service standards.
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained throughout service.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and requests efficiently.
- Assist in billing, processing payments, and maintaining proper records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Support colleagues and work as part of the team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma / Hotel Management certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel or restaurant is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, customer-focused, and team-oriented.
- Basic knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
