Purpose:The Quality Director for large transformation projects will play a pivotal role in ensuring processassurance and compliance across complex initiatives involving multiple product and cross-functional teams. This position requires expertise in implementing robust governance frameworksencompassing program management, change management, and risk management to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and methodologies for cloud operations.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, metrics, and KPIs for cloud services.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams to optimize service reliability and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Define and enforce best practices for incident management, problem resolution, and change management.
- Monitor and analyse operational data to identify trends and patterns, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud operations and quality assurance.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in cloud operations and quality assurance.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, architectures, and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience in leading quality assurance teams and implementing QA methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex systems and data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Cloud Security Professional, Certified Cloud Architect) are a plus.
Soft skill expectations: Good management skills to effectively manage Quality team Ability to maturely interact and communicate with leadership teams Ability to train and guide Quality team. Set directions and guide team to meet goals. Ensure unit& expectations from quality team (goals) are met. Create presentations and conduct training on quality to internal stakeholders / customers
