Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities Strategic Focus Development of a detailed Quality Assurance strategy and standards. Development of automation strategy and standards. Development of Test Data, Test environments and NFR testing enterprise strategies. Identify, screen and evaluate new solution & tooling opportunities to generate maximum value for MUFG. Act as a key technology SME for MUFG’s strategic programs, become a trusted advisor to support complex testing outcomes and resolve delivery blockers. Operational Management Drive testing standards, frameworks innovation and change through development of chapters and quality practice management strategy. Oversee and govern quality engineering practices to verify the conformance with specifications and deliverables. Implement a DevOps Culture and delivery approach utilising both tooling and processes to effect change. Develop and cultivate close working relationships with internal stakeholders. Regularly seek feedback and provide insights and actions to continuously innovate and improve our function. Dive in and resolve critical blockers on high profile strategic programs and incidents. Establish key performance indicators and quality metrics to measure and report on the effectiveness of the testing process. Track through metrics improvements against baseline and to strategy. Analyse trends in testing outcomes (and suggest continuous improvement mechanisms). Communicate quality metrics to relevant stakeholders. People Leadership Govern process, patterns and framework usage across all delivery teams. Manage virtual chapters. Strong influential skills with an emphasis on building quality output, continuous improvement and running large transformation programs successfully. Work within a team assisting in: Timely completion of task assigned. Effective technology usage for problem solving. Introduce Innovation to solve business challenges. Motivate the team to deliver quality at all times. Governance & Risk Enforce testing technology governance across the enterprise.  Identify opportunities for optimisation and financial savings. Take a lead on the management of risk, dependencies and issues associated with tech delivery.  Manage and document the quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits. Experience & Personal Attributes Experience A minimum of 10 years’ experience leading an engineering led delivery. Strong experience in establishing engineering practices including quality procedures. Experience in working with global teams. Deep understanding of Agile standards and processes. Has a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related Engineering disciplines. Experience in the Superannuation Industry or at a minimum the financial services industry. Personal Attributes Strong interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels of the organisation and build strong relationship and trust with clients and internal stakeholders. Able to communicate a compelling vision and purpose to broader team. Effective verbal and written communication skills, needed to communicate with global teams/stakeholders. Practical and simple problem-solving approach. Effective team player with collaborative skills, learning and proactive attitude.
