Key responsibilities
Program Planning and Strategy: Define objectives, scope, and success criteria. Develop comprehensive plans aligned with organizational goals. Project Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to best practices. Stakeholder Communication: Establish clear communication channels, provide regular updates, and facilitate productive meetings. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, optimize utilization, and manage dependencies. Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address issues. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards, implement continuous improvement initiatives. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, generate regular reports and metrics. Change Management: Manage changes in scope, schedule, and objectives, assess impacts, and communicate effectively. Vendor and Third-Party Management: Collaborate with external partners, ensure alignment with program goals. Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of technical aspects, provide guidance and support as needed.
Role requirements
10+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (preferably Computer/Electrical Engineering). Strong understanding of technical concepts with the ability to translate into non-technical terms. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Java, Python, and SDLC.
