Job Overview

The Senior Technical Engineer will oversee operational safety, productivity, and technical success at our production facility. This includes:Managing electro-mechanical systems, automation, and power distribution.Leading projects like plant expansions and technical upgrades.Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical & Project Management

Develop technical strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.Lead projects (plant expansions, machinery upgrades) with effective planning and resource management.Oversee machine installation, commissioning, and calibration.2. Mechanical Systems Oversight

Maintain production machinery like extruders, circular looms, and laminators.Supervise hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal systems, ensuring efficiency.Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.3. Electrical & Automation Systems

Manage PLC, SCADA, VFDs, and power systems (transformers, UPS, generators).Optimize energy use and ensure stable power distribution.4. MEP Design & Integration

Design and oversee MEP systems (steam lines, chilled lines, firefighting).Utilize CAD tools for system layout and compliance with safety standards.5. Quality Assurance & Compliance

Partner with Quality Control teams to meet ISO standards.Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM methodologies to optimize processes.6. Leadership & Team Development

Lead and mentor engineers and technicians.Foster a safety-centric culture with regular training and audits.

Core Technical Skills

Automation : PLC (Siemens, ABB), SCADA, VFDs.Power Systems : Transformers, UPS, MDBs, and high-capacity generators.Mechanical Systems : Extruders, gearboxes, and high-capacity pumps.Thermal Management : Boilers, chillers, heat exchangers.MEP Expertise : Piping, instrumentation, and firefighting systems.

Software Proficiency

CAD Tools : AutoCAD, SolidWorks.ERP Systems : SAP for maintenance planning.Project Management : Primavera, MS Access.
