Description :

The role of Test Lead at Company includes end-to-end responsibility to design and oversee a robust testing framework, set up and maintain the QA environment. This requires establishing and documenting the manual/automated testing approach, oversee the use of tools, execution and put in place/enhance reporting mechanisms.


The Test Lead will participate in sprint planning, process reviews, and will own defect management with suitable tool(s). The ideal candidate should possess working experience in BFSI (present or past roles), with hands on experience in Core Banking System, Lending and Payments.

Required Skills :

  • Experience in Manual Testing
  • Experience in Automation testing (Selenium with Java)
  • Experience in API Testing (Rest Assured or Karate DSL)
  • Experience in Payments or cards domain
  • Engineering graduate or equivalent degree in computer science or application
  • Hands-on experience on tools that include Jenkins, Selenium, Karate.
  • Working experience in Core Banking Products, Clearing, Payments & GL
  • Good communication/interaction skills to handle explanations, briefing and compile reports
  • Knowledge of Architecture, Design fundamentals, Testing tools, agile methodologies
  • Exposure to business domain to grasp business requirements
  • Should possess excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
  • Knowledge of activities in Project life cycle for development and maintenance projects
  • Knowledge of atheist one estimation (forecasting) methodology, apart from quality processes
Responsibilities :
  • Build and drive a testing team comprising motivated professionals with the right skills and attitudes.
  • Identify training requirements and help team upgrade skills, capabilities
  • Develop a feasible test plan for tasks, dependencies and participants
  • Prepare and update metrics dashboard on completion of projects.
  • Review, revise and submit reports prepared by Test engineers
  • Ensure on-time delivery of testing milestones
  • Be the SPOC for Developers and Testers.
  • Track, prepare the testing report - testing results, test case coverage, resources utilisation, defects management and performance baselines.
