Establishes and aligns Software Test Plan based on Master Test Plan & Strategy and Software Development PlanSupports definition of the Master Test Plan & StrategyEnsures feasibility of the Software testing activitiesEnsures the application of the project test strategy in Software test teams (incl. Software Test Process)Analyzes and approves testability of requirementsDefines and deploys the Software Test Resources (Engineers & Environment) Deployment PlanSupports the design of the Software Test EnvironmentApproves the Software Test SpecificationFreezes the content of the Software smoke testApproves and communicates Software Test Report, to be shared also with FuSaCloses the Software test activitiesDefines, tracks and reports of KPIs (Software Test Status) in his/her area of responsibilityContinuously identifies areas for improvement, define measures and ensure implementation in his/her area of responsibilityIn case of deviations, escalates to the Software PM and provides adequate information and proposals for decision makingTakes part of the Functional Core TeamIs responsible for Process Adherence & Product Results of Software test area: delivers Software test artifacts at the expected quality & makes sure their reviews are green (at the respective CP)Overall Software Test Lead's responsibilities, in addition to the above onesEnsures consistency and alignment between the different Software Test Leads PlanEnsure that all input documents/Requirements are covered along the different Plans, if not an overall Software Test Engineer needs to be assigned in the project to cover the gaps.SkillsExperience in project management (plan, monitoring and control against priorities...)Experience in software testingUnderstanding of software test case writing methodologies and test executionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication/reporting skillsKnowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®), regarding verification and validation process areasOptional: Certified ISTQB Test Manager Advanced Level* Overall Software Test Lead's skills, in addition to the above ones: -Experience in different Product Lines Authorities: - Functional authority for software test resource allocation (human and infrastructure) - To escalate issues regarding testing according to escalation matrix/level as defined within project test strategy - To request all necessary inputs to carry on team's duty (project plan & schedule, project test strategy..)
