Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Manager to join our jewellery store in Ahmedabad. As a Floor Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and profitability of the store. You will be responsible for analyzing store performance metrics, maximizing sales, maintaining store ambience, and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve their targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring adherence to corporate standards and policies.
Analyze and optimize store ambience to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
Monitor year-to-date (YTD) targets and year-over-year (YOY) sales growth, implementing strategies to achieve or exceed goals.
Evaluate team sales performance and provide guidance and support to maximize profitability.
Review and optimize company incentive policies to align with sales targets, motivating staff to achieve maximum incentives.
Maintain store cleanliness and organization to uphold brand image and customer satisfaction.
Manage virtual merchandising (VM) to enhance product visibility and presentation.
Provide training and development opportunities for staff to improve sales performance and customer service.
Address customer queries and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Coordinate jewellery exhibition programs and outdoor activities to promote brand visibility and drive sales.
Implement strategies to minimize discounts and maintain profitability.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all staff members, minimizing deviations.
Maintain stock levels in coordination with the purchasing department and communicate stock requirements to the merchandising team.
Ensure availability of staff on the floor to provide assistance and support to customers.
Foster strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to enhance sales opportunities.
Generate new ideas and initiatives to achieve monthly sales targets and drive business growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the jewellery industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership abilities with a motivational mindset to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining store standards and customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and retail management software.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
