About the Role
We are looking for a Loan Operations Specialist who will handle loan processing, servicing, documentation, and compliance activities. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of banking/loan operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Book and fund new loans in the core banking system.
- Monitor payments, renewals, extensions, and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with lending regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate loan records, reports, and audit documentation.
- Respond to queries from customers, loan officers, and internal teams.
- Prepare regulatory and management reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors/Associate's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in loan operations, banking, or financial services.
- Knowledge of loan documentation and compliance (RESPA, TILA preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and loan servicing software.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
