Salesforce Billing Specialist

Role: Salesforce Billing SpecialistExperience Preferred: 10+ YearsLocation: BangaloreJob Description:- Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce Billing projects — from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and post-production support.- Configure and customize Salesforce Billing functionality including pricing models, product catalog setup, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition.- Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance, and engineering teams to define and streamline billing and revenue workflows.- Integrate Salesforce Billing with external systems such as Contracts, Payments, Tax, Financials, and Product Usage.- Ensure compliance with Salesforce security, data privacy, and governance standards.- Work in an agile environment, managing deliverables using tools such as Jira.- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices to the development team.- Partner with finance and operations teams to enhance automation, reporting, and analytics related to billing.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.- 10+ years of hands-on experience on the Salesforce platform, with deep expertise in Salesforce Billing.- Proven knowledge of SaaS usage-based billing concepts – pricing, product catalogs, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition.- Strong understanding of Salesforce customization (objects, workflows, triggers, integrations).- Experience in integration architecture across Contracts, Billing, Financials, and Payments.- Proficiency in Salesforce security, data privacy, and governance standards.- Experience using Business Process Management tools such as Jira.- Exposure to Workday ERP or other financial systems is an added advantage.
