We’re currently looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our remote team in India. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of a new web portal application, a key external product built on the MERN stack.

 

As our ideal candidate, you enjoy writing code, clarifying requirements, and contributing to technical design discussions. You have a passion for efficiency and effectiveness in a remote team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and testing of new features and functionality for our MERN stack-based web portal application, leveraging MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.

- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to ensure that the application meets all user needs and requirements.

- Develop and optimize APIs and handle third-party API integrations.

- Write, review, and maintain high-quality, well-documented, and scalable code.

- Implement and execute unit, UI, acceptance, performance, and security tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and system stability.

- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to improve system reliability and performance.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

- 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in a fintech or similar environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating third-party APIs.

- Knowledge of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and best practices for web security.

- Experience working with Azure Blob storage, Docker containers, and other Azure cloud services.

- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

- Hands-on experience with testing methodologies and tools for unit, UI, acceptance, performance, and security testing.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to team success.
