What you’ll be doing• Applies specialist technical expertise to develop and advise approach on a range of complex, high impact and high risk customer solutions and define the architectural strategy for the Service domain• Accountable for defining and maintaining the architectural roadmap for the respective domain• Creates, owns and implements the technical solutions and inputs into the roadmaps for the respective domain• Liaises with CFU and customer stakeholders, ensuring business needs are met through assurance of the design• To work with programme managers and colleagues across BT to ensure programmes /projects are successful• Supports the development of deep technical and repeatable solutions that achieve customer requirements driving positive outcomes.• Supports the development of innovative and repeatable solution architectures and use cases to meet agreed requirements and business objectives.• Supports business stakeholders' understanding of capabilities and the transformative power of group products, services and technology.• Supports with the translation of requirements into product configuration and implementation standards.• Executes work in delivering initiatives that are a part of the company's overall commercial strategy.• Executes and delivers work using solution patterns and solution architecture best practices within procedures to deliver the strategy and vision of the solution architecture specialism .• Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of solution architecture

Experience required

overall 3+yrs experience• Should have deep knowledge of at least one telecommunications related technology covering either of the following areas: WAN/SDWAN/LAN/Voice/Compute• Should have prior hands-on experience on designing end-to-end solutions in the Telecommunications service domain• Should have good knowledge of eTOM or ITIL or similar standards in the telecoms space• Showcased expertise on a project or a specific piece of work or led a project outside of the core areas of your expertise
