Job Title: Power BI Developer – Azure Fabric Environment

Location: Noida, Delhi, Mumbai

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade analytics solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to build interactive dashboards, optimize performance, and leverage Fabric's advanced capabilities for end-to-end data workflows.

Key Responsibilities


• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards integrated with Microsoft Fabric.


• Build and optimize semantic models, DAX queries, and Power Query transformations for performance and scalability.


• Collaborate with data engineers to connect Power BI with Fabric Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse layers.


• Implement row-level security (RLS) and ensure compliance with organizational data governance policies.


• Automate data refreshes, manage workspaces, and optimize dataset performance in Fabric.


• Translate business requirements into BI solutions and provide insights for data-driven decision-making.


• Support Fabric integration with Data Factory pipelines, Synapse, and AI features.

Required Skills & Experience


• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.


• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric ecosystem – OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Data Warehouse, Lakehouse.


• Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M language), and SQL.


• Proficiency in designing data models, star/snowflake schemas, and implementing best practices in Fabric.


• Experience with data refresh optimization, incremental refresh, and large datasets.


• Familiarity with Azure ecosystem (Data Lake, Azure SQL, Databricks, Logic Apps, Functions).


• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications


• Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-300, DP-500, or Fabric-related certifications).


• Exposure to AI/ML integrations with Fabric and Power BI.


• Experience in large-scale enterprise BI deployments.
