The opportunity:


As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you will be passionate and focused on building high quality CI/CD solutions on Salesforce platform. You will present an adaptive, free-thinking, and quality focused mindset and approach to problems. You will work alongside a dedicated Salesforce Team, to collaborate on specifications based, validate the proposals, and deliver the CI/CD pipeline.


Your skills and experience:


  • The confidence to express ideas as part of the Engineering team
  • A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing code into best practice
  • Self-starter, with a neutral enthusiasm and desire to learn
  • Comfortable working as a team, as well as independently
  • 3 years of related Salesforce experience in a development capability
  • 2 years Salesforce Release Management
  • Package and deploy custom configuration and code
  • Worked on multiple projects with Salesforce products/platform
  • Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines using solution such as Copado, Flosum, Autorabit, Git, Azure DevOps or Jenkins
  • Good understanding of Source Control Management
  • Experience with DataLoader
  • Experience with maintaining and managing Salesforce Sandbox
  • Understand SFDX CLI
  • Experience and understanding Quality Gate process
  • Experience and understanding Security of the CI/CD process


Qualification and other requirements:

  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or Salesforce Lifecycle and Deployment Architecture

  • Be able to take responsibility for a piece of work from start to finish


Responsibility:


  • You will create, automate, and implement/improve processes related to the releasing of Salesforce applications
  • You will be collaborating with development teams, ensuring they follow DevOps procedures and best practices
  • You will manage change control process. Manage production backups, sandbox refreshes and continuously improve release processes
  • You will plan and govern best practices for release lifecycle including version controls, branching and code merges
  • Establish and enforce CI/CD best DevOps practices
  • You will handle development lifecycle management of the Salesforce applications, from developing solutions through to testing, code reviews and releases using CI/CD pipelines
  • You will maintain a security conscious mindset and adhere to best practices and team standards
