HCL Software Support Lead Developer/ManagerThis person has to have the following:• Needs to be driven and take initiative• Has a strong desire to learn the ServiceNow product as well as theoverall support process• Be able to balance the need to do the right thing for the businessand the client as well as for our L2 Support teams• Needs to be technical to understand the ServiceNow tool, theconfiguration, and backend of the system

• Be able to communicate and work collaboratively with a worldwide team• Flexible to work in different time zonesEssential Job Functions:• Identify new opportunities for transforming manual operations in toautomated workflows• Facilitate deployment and subsequent maintenance of criticalSupport infrastructure, considering the needs for high availability,disaster recovery, and backup• Serve as escalation point for incidents related to the functioning ofthe code• Collaborate with engineers and cross functional teams to deliverhigh quality features, defects, and enhancements• Define and improve process; share and follow development bestpractice• Ability to lead, mentor and guide junior engineers• Ability to recognize needs of the team, such as training• Good level of spoken and written EnglishDeveloper functions• Good knowledge of Agile Development and apply rigor infollowing it.• Understanding of what makes good User Interface experience.• Be able to translate ideas into requirements• Be able to translate requirements into actionable stories• Be able to translate stories into bug free working code.• Good knowledge of the JavaScript language and debuggingJavaScript• Good knowledge of Angular• Good understanding of REST APIs• Good understanding of Relational databases• Quick learner with the ability to understand and apply what waslearnedTester functions• Write complete test cases• Write up detailed comprehensible defect reportsLocation: PuneExp:5-10 yrs
