This is not just a one-time project it will be an annual flagship event representing Indias leadership in the global rice trade.

Job Title: Buyer Relations Professional (GM/Manager Level)

Experience Required: GM Level Minimum 10 year/ Manager Level Minimum 6 years

Location: New Delhi (Punjabi Bagh)

Industry: Agro Sector (Preference Rice Industry)

Role Overview

We are seeking highly experienced and dynamic Buyer Relations Professionals at GM/Manager level to manage and strengthen relationships with international buyers in the agro sector. The role requires engaging with 1000+ foreign buyers visiting India for a major international conference, ensuring seamless coordination, buyer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strong professional relationships with global buyers in the agro sector (preference for rice industry experience).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for 1000+ foreign buyers during the upcoming international conference in India.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of buyer visits, meetings, and networking sessions.
  • Facilitate buyer engagement programs, including B2B meetings, trade delegations, and hospitality.
  • Work closely with internal teams, industry bodies, and stakeholders to maximize buyer participation and satisfaction.
  • Resolve queries and provide timely assistance to international buyers before, during, and after the conference.
  • Maintain accurate databases of buyer profiles and track relationship history.
  • Provide strategic inputs on buyer expectations, industry trends, and market requirements to management.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums, networking sessions, and buyer engagement activities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum 815 years of experience in Buyer Relations/Client Servicing/International Trade (Agro sector experience mandatory; rice industry preferred).
  • Level: Senior Manager/General Manager.
  • Strong track record in managing international buyers, delegations, or trade-related events.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle large-scale buyer interactions foreign buyers).
  • Exposure to trade fairs, conferences, and international business delegations preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and relationship management abilities.
  • Multilingual skills will be an added advantage.
