About the project
Neurowise Academy is seeking a passionate and committed Educational Psychologist to join our team during the early stages of an exciting new project aimed at supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLDs) such as dyslexia, across India. This project aims to develop and implement innovative strategies to empower students with SLDs, enabling them to reach their full potential in education and beyond.
The Educational Psychologist will be responsible for delivering Neurowise Academy's course curriculum to schools, colleges, and universities, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to better support their students with SLDs. Neurowise Academy has been established to offer charitable services to support educational institutions in areas related to Learning Disabilities. As such, the chosen candidate should be willing to work at different schools across India.
We are looking for a team member who is enthusiastic about investing in Neurowise Academy as a long-term employee, contributing to the growth and success of the organisation while making a lasting impact on the lives of students with SLDs.
Reporting Structure
The Educational Psychologist will report directly to the founder of Neurowise Academy (UK based) who will be making several visits to India each year. The successful candidate will work closely with the founder to ensure the project's success and alignment with Neurowise Academy's vision.
Responsibilities
 Collaborate with the project team and the founder of Neurowise Academy to continue with on-going development of Neurowise Academy’s course curriculum for Learning Support
Deliver Neurowise Academy’s comprehensive Learning support program to educational establishments for students with SLDs
Be involved in running workshops for teachers and parents
Conduct assessments and diagnose students with SLDs using standardised tools and methods
Design and implement individualised intervention plans for students, considering their unique needs and strengths
Provide guidance and support to teachers and parents to create an inclusive learning environment
