Data Center Executive: -

Responsibilities of Data center executive includes Management and Maintenance of Servers, Application, Services, Power, UPS, Fire Alarm and suppression system etc.. He should have knowledge of Windows Server Operating system, basic knowledge of databases, SAN Storage. He will be provided operating knowledge of Automatic Fire Alarm system, UPS system, PAC system, FM200 System, CCTV, Very Early Smoke Detector Alarm (VESDA) system, Water Leak Detector (WLD) system. He should be able to operate DC system. His Job also includes monitoring, inform, troubleshooting and coordination with different vendors of all the different system mentioned above for maintenance. He will act as single point of contact between vendor maintaining above mentioned system and HPCL Mumbai Refinery IS team. Data center executive has to work in during working hours for data center monitoring and support. Documentation of the set procedures and reports are to be prepared by data center executive. Data Center Executive will be to performing following activities:

  1. Monitoring the health of Servers, Storage, HCI and Databases, take corrective action as advise by Administrators.

  2. Monitor scheduled onsite and offsite backups of server and databases.

  3. Monitor and Maintenance of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

  4. Restore database to test backups as per the set SOP.

  5. Deploy security patches.

  6. Coordinate with OEM over remote meeting to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  7. Keep track of AMCs and coordinate maintenance jobs of DC infrastructure.

  8. Coordinate with network team on network issues.

  9. Keep track of visitors visiting the Data Center.

  10. Be part of planned and unplanned Data Center Activities. Data center executive has to work under the laid down procedures, do jobs specified/assigned by HPCL IS department and under the supervision of HPCL Nodal Officer.

Working Days: 24*7 manpower availability.

6 Working days in a week in 2 shift operations (Working Hours are upto 48 Hrs. per week).
