Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SDET-2 to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing , API testing , and database validation , with exposure to test automation using Selenium with Java . Experience with TestNG or Cucumber is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Perform automation testing on web and mobile applications. Design and execute API test cases using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. Conduct database testing using SQL to validate business logic and data integrity. Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies. Write and maintain test cases , test plans , and bug reports . Optional: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java. Optional: Utilize TestNG or Cucumber frameworks for test execution and reporting. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3-4 years of experience in automation testing , API testing, and database testing. Proficiency in SQL for database testing. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured. Basic understanding of Java and Selenium WebDriver . Exposure to TestNG or Cucumber (preferred but not required). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and documentation skills. Good to Have: Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with version control tools like Git. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
