  • EventPlanning:
  • Collaboratewith clients to understand their event requirements includingbudget theme and preferences.
  • Develop detailedevent plans including timelines budgets and resourcerequirements.
  • Coordinate with variousdepartments to ensure all aspects of the event are coveredincluding catering staffing decorations andlogistics.
  • MenuPlanning:
  • Workwith culinary teams to create customized menus based on clientpreferences and event themes.
  • Ensure thequality and presentation of food and beverages meet the higheststandards.
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions andspecial requests from clients andguests.
  • VendorManagement:
  • Negotiatecontracts with suppliers including catering services florists andequipment rental companies.
  • Coordinate andcommunicate effectively with vendors to ensure timely delivery ofgoods and services.
  • Conduct regular evaluationsof vendors to ensure quality andcosteffectiveness.
  • LogisticsandOperations:
  • Overseeevent setup ensuring all elements are in place according to theevent plan.
  • Manage onsite logistics duringevents addressing any issues that mayarise.
  • Coordinate with the facilities andmaintenance teams to ensure a clean and safeenvironment.
  • CustomerService:
  • Provideexceptional customer service to clients before during and afterevents.
  • Handle client inquiries and concernspromptly and professionally.
  • Gather feedbackfrom clients and guests to continually improveservices.
  • BudgetManagement:
  • Developand manage event budgets ensuring financial goals aremet.
  • Monitor expenses identify costsavingopportunities and report financial status tomanagement.
  • TeamLeadership:
  • Leadand motivate a team of event staff including servers bartenders andsupport staff.
  • Conduct training sessions toensure staff is wellprepared for eachevent.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelorsdegree in Hospitality Management Event Planning or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in event managementpreferably in the food and beverageindustry.
  • Strong organizational and projectmanagement skills.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work underpressure and meet tight deadlines.
