IFCCI HR & Recruitment Services Team has been retained by a Large French Services group (a global player) to manage the search for the Chief Financial Officer of their Indian Subsidiary to support the development of the Group’s activity in India.


The post

The Chief Financial Officer reports hierarchically to the CEO of the subsidiary in India and functionally to the Group Chief Financial Officer based in Paris.

The main responsibilities are:

• Finance function pilot (cash accounting control and internal control)

• Key role in controlling and supporting the business

• Finance team management

Specifically:

• Management control: deploy and animate the main financial processes (Budget Forecast, Strategic Plan, Results)

• Management dashboards (financial and operational indicators)

• Validate and support investment projects

• Consolidate the results of the zone and ensure their presentation commented to the Group

• Commercial: respond to Tender and validate contracts financially and legally

•Accounting : ensure the preparation of accounts according to current standards and comply with accounting and tax reporting obligations locally; manage with the Group tax controls and litigation; optimize the BFR, ensure the link with the statutory auditors

• Treasury: Make cash forecasts more reliable, optimize and secure cash flows ; ensure communication with Group Treasury

• Internal control: ensuring procedures, setting standards and fraud prevention

• IT: manage the relationship with the subsidiary and Group IT departments

Profile

  • Successful experience of at least 8 years
  • Graduate Grande Ecole de Commerce (or equivalent) and higher accounting degrees
  • Bilingual fluency in French and English
  • Ability to connect with the French Side and the larger Group in general.
  • Experience of undergoing an M&A in the Indian Market is an added advantage
  • Experience as CFO/ Finance Head in the Indian Market
