Position Overview :

The AWS Cloud Engineer will be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver scalable and reliable cloud solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable AWS infrastructure solutions.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources.

- Implement automation and orchestration solutions to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes.

- Design and implement security measures to protect AWS environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

- Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and address performance issues.

- Continuously optimize AWS resources for cost efficiency.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AWS architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.

- Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- AWS certifications are preferred.
