Roles & responsibilities:

Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboarding a highly skilled “Electronics Engineer” with an understanding

of various electronic components & equipments and able to understand and work on schematics/system

interconnects. The candidate will be part of a team assisting in the delivery of efficient engineering support

and solutions to customers while also contributing to the development of Indian semiconductor ecosystem.


  • Electrical/Electro-mechanical parts obsolescence and part lifecycle management
  • • Work on electronics components obsolescence to qualify form, fit and functional replacements and
  • release in system along with the documentation.
  • • End to end ownership: Work collaboratively with the cross-functional team comprising mechanical,
  • software, system, and process engineering (in different geographies) to develop and qualify
  • engineering solutions.
  • • Participate in design reviews to present the design throughout the different phases of design and
  • development.
  • • Perform FMEA and provide mitigation strategies to eliminate risks.


Eligibility Criteria:

Required Qualifications:

  • Required Qualifications:
  • • M.Tech in Electrical/Electronic with experience of 0-1 years OR B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic with
  • experience 1-2yr
  • • Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.
  • Mandatory Skills:
  • • Understanding of various electronic components & equipments
  • • Able to understand and work on schematics/system interconnects.
  • • Able to select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.
  • • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • • Critical/ system level thinking.
  • • Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Good to have:
  • • Understanding on electronic component obsolescence & component validation/qualification
  • • Understanding on part lifecycle management, change orders/engineering change requests using any
  • PLM system.
  • • Familiar with communication/IP protocols, bus architecture, and I/O interface.
  • • Hands on experience of AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
  • • Hands on experience of testing electronics component- bench level test and system level test.
