Job PurposeAs a Sustainability Design Executive, you will be responsible for driving initiatives that promote environmental stewardship, resource efficiency, and social responsibility throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sustainable design principles, a proven track record of implementing sustainability strategies, and excellent leadership skills.Principal Accountabilities Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives to optimize the environmental, social, and economic performance of real estate development projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, developers, and project managers, to integrate sustainable design principles into project planning, design, construction, and operations. Conduct comprehensive sustainability assessments and feasibility studies for new and existing projects, identifying opportunities for energy efficiency, water conservation, waste reduction, and renewable energy integration. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sustainable design and construction, and provide guidance on their implementation to enhance project performance. Lead the certification process for green building standards such as LEED, WELL, or other relevant certifications, from pre-design through post-construction phases. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, green building councils, and sustainability organizations, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the organization's commitment to sustainability and green building practices through various channels, including marketing materials, presentations, and events. Provide training and education to internal teams and project stakeholders on sustainability principles, practices, and certification requirements. Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainability goals and objectives, and prepare regular reports to senior management on project performance and achievements. Foster a culture of sustainability within the organization by promoting awareness, engagement, and participation in sustainability initiatives among employees and stakeholders. Performance Measure of SuccessKey RelationshipsQualification and ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. 1 to 5 years of experience.
