Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic law firm. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the firm’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building, and maintaining client relationships, and enhancing the firm's market presence. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong legal industry knowledge and exceptional communication skills.

Strategic Planning and Market Analysis:
Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the firm’s goals and objectives.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Prepare detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients.
Maintain a thorough understanding of client's needs and provide tailored solutions.
Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
New Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
Coordinate and lead client pitches, presentations, and proposals.
Work closely with practice group leaders to develop and execute targeted business development initiatives.
Marketing and Communications:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies.
Enhance the firm’s brand presence through events, sponsorships, and digital marketing.
Create and distribute marketing materials, including newsletters, brochures, and social media content.
Reporting and Analysis:
Track and analyses business development metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
Assess the effectiveness of business development strategies and adjust, as necessary.
Monitor client feedback and satisfaction to ensure high service standards.
Required
Education: A master’s degree from a tier 1 B school is required.
Experience: At least 8-10 years of consistence experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles.
Strategic Planning and Analysis
Ability to develop and implement business development strategies.
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and opportunities.
Sales and Negotiation
Excellent sales skills to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Strong negotiation skills to close deals and partnerships.
Ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Skilled in presenting and pitching business ideas.
Networking
Proficiency in networking to establish new connections and foster existing ones.
Active participation in industry events and conferences to identify business prospects.
Preferred
A Law degree will be an added advantage.
Certifications in sales, business development, or any other related field can add value.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business environments.
Familiarity with industry-specific tools and technologies.
Understanding of global markets and ability to manage international business relations.
Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to work effectively in diverse environments
