About the Role:
We are looking for a high-performing and self-driven
Sr.
Business Development Executive / Manager
with 5-8 years of experience in selling
engineering services
to clients in the
North American / USA market
.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in or selling solutions for the
Plant Engineering domain
or cutting-edge
Hi-Tech sectors
such as
AI/ML, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), or Digital Automation
.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end business development activities including lead generation, proposal creation, client engagement, and deal closure.
- Identify and engage with prospective clients in the
Plant Engineering
or
Hi-Tech (AI/ML, AMR, Automation)
space. - Build strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and offering tailored engineering solutions.
- Work closely with technical pre-sales and delivery teams to ensure alignment of solutions with client expectations.
- Manage and grow a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities in the
USA market
. - Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs as defined by the leadership team.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales documentation in coordination with internal teams.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and client technology roadmaps to position relevant services.
- Represent the company at virtual or in-person meetings (when applicable) and industry events in North America.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
(Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar discipline). - 5–8 years of experience
in engineering services sales, with a proven track record. - Hands-on experience in selling to
North American / USA clients
is
mandatory
. - Prior exposure to solution selling in
Plant Engineering
or
Hi-Tech (AI/ML, AMRs, Digital Automation)
domains is
highly preferred
. - Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand technical offerings and map them to client needs.
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills
. - Highly motivated, self-driven, and a fast learner with a strong attitude towards continuous learning and upskilling.
- Willingness to work in
USA office hours (night shift)
