Job Requirement

We're looking for a Video Editor who's shaped content for creators or creator-led brands, with equal mastery of snappy 30-second Reels and compelling 15-minute YouTube documentaries. You'll bring directorial vision to every project—interpreting briefs, crafting narrative arcs, and proposing creative coverage that keeps viewers hooked. Motion graphics aren't optional; they're core to how you tell stories.

What You'll Do

Transform rough briefs into compelling narratives — take raw footage and loose concepts, build clear story arcs with proper hooks, beats, and payoffs. Execute motion graphics packages including titles, lower-thirds, infographics, and light animation that elevate the story. Optimize for platform and retention with vertical framing, burned-in captions, meme timing, and sound design that keeps thumbs from scrolling.

You'll propose creative beats like cold opens, mini-hooks, pattern breaks, and transitions that maximize watch time. Version content across formats, exporting with correct specs for Reels, Shorts, and YouTube. Collaborate with producers and writers on storyboards and punch-ups. Maintain organized project files, clear naming conventions, and reliable backups.

You Bring

Creator ecosystem experience — you've edited for creators or creator-led brands and can share portfolio links. Technical fluency in Premiere Pro + After Effects. Strong storytelling fundamentals including hooks, three-act structure, pacing, and emotional beats. Platform fluency with vertical aspect ratios, subtitle placement, export specs, and algorithm-friendly formatting. Polish skills including basic color correction, audio cleanup/mixing, and asset organization.

Even Better If You Have

3D workflow experience (Unreal Engine, Blender). Thumbnail ideation skills and basic design sense. Experience with retention analytics (YouTube Studio) and A/B testing mindset. Multi-cam sync, documentary assembly, interview editing, and archival sourcing chops.

Your Toolkit

Primary: Premiere Pro, After Effects. Supporting: Photoshop/Illustrator (basic), Audition or Resolve Fairlight (basic). Workflow: Google Drive, Notion
