Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced MongoDB Specialist with 6 to 10 years of expertise in MongoDB data modeling/design, SQL development with performance tuning, and database administration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MongoDB, with experience in data lake and data warehousing applications.

The role requires proficiency in database monitoring, administration, and security, as well as experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server.

The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

MongoDB Data Modeling/Design :

- Design and implement MongoDB data models that align with application requirements and business objectives.

SQL Development with Performance Tuning :

- Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and efficiency.

Database Administration :

- Administer MongoDB databases, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and monitoring.

Data Lake and Data Warehousing :

- Implement and maintain MongoDB databases for data lake and data warehousing applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Database Monitoring & Administration Tools :

- Utilize database monitoring and administration tools to monitor database performance, diagnose issues, and optimize database operations.

RDBMS Experience :

- Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server.

Design Configuration Standards :

- Define design configuration standards for MongoDB, DocumentDB, and RDBMS databases to ensure consistency and maintainability.

Database Engineering Solutions :

- Develop database engineering solutions for MongoDB, DocumentDB, and RDBMS databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.

Database Security and Audit Logging :

- Enforce database security policies and implement audit logging mechanisms to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Database Automation Provisioning :

- Automate database provisioning, upgrades, security patches, and monitoring to streamline database management processes.

Database Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery :

- Define procedures for database backup, recovery, retention, and disaster recovery to ensure data protection and continuity of operations.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 6 to 10 years of experience in MongoDB data modeling/design, SQL development with performance tuning, and database administration.

- Expertise in MongoDB and proficiency in SQL.

- Experience with data lake and data warehousing applications.

- Familiarity with database monitoring and administration tools.

- Experience with RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
