This is a multifaceted role, encompassing both technical expertise and leadership.

As a Senior Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining the core technologies necessary for EG products development and technologies advancements. Your responsibilities encompass various aspects of technology, including development of tools, frameworks, methodologies, package solutions, systems architecture, security techniques etc..,

Responsibilities:

Technology Leadership:

- You are primarily a leader and communicator. You are tasked with comprehending and influencing business strategies while spearheading the development of an architectural strategy that harmonizes with and empowers the business vision.- Define and drive architectural direction for an organization, collaborate with senior executives (sponsors) to understand their needs and map them against the architectural vision. This synchronization ensures that technological decisions bolster business objectives.- Engage with people at all levels within the organization, asking questions and absorbing insights. These insights from colleagues and stakeholders contribute to building a comprehensive technical vision.- Should be flexible and ready to adapt. Your goal is to reinvent, challenge, and grow. You constantly explore new possibilities and advocate for innovations that lead to a better future.- Articulate technology solutions and explain the competitive advantages of various technology alternatives.- Actively communicate and exchange ideas with peers outside their immediate ecosystem. What we expect from you:

- Develop and maintain an architecture blueprint for a portfolio of EG products in different business domains including but not limited to Retail, Healthcare, Logistics, Construction etc.- Create and provide governance of strategies, technology road maps, reference architectures and standards and advocate for the use of industry best practices and standards in the delivery of SAAS products.- Lead the operation of the System Architecture function providing subject matter expertise focusing on complex and innovative SAAS products and reusable frameworks.- Create long-term strategies and roadmaps in various architecture disciplines to meet IT and business goals. Identify risk scenarios and mitigation plans.- Work closely and continuously with the business to focus on meeting business requirements and incorporate broader aspects such as overall product costs, data privacy and control, business continuity, information security, integration with other systems, etc.- Ensure that there is clear and consistent alignment from a technical architecture perspective across the provision of all software systems and products.- Consideration and recommendation of the appropriateness and suitability of on premise and cloud-based solutions.- Evaluate solutions to ensure that they are in alignment with the broader organization's mission, strategy / objectives, capabilities, and processes using industry recognized architectural models and roadmaps.- Develop technical architectural principles, policies and standards and ensure that all sections are applied in development lifecycle.- Ensure that technology and application platforms are scalable, extensible, and cost effective in line with corporate strategy and customer needs.- Monitor external technological advancements that may impact IT and the business. Ensure readiness by developing adequate technical skills and mentoring EG product development teams in same directions.- Assess the technologies used and contribute to selecting technologies used in EG product.- Collaborate with other architects to define and maintain the Enterprise Blueprint for corporate architecture strategy. Ensure integration between business units.- Proficiency in a wide range of technical areas, including: Cloud technologies, Infrastructure design, Digital transformation, Software development (Java, C#, Angular, React, SQL, NoSQL etc.) ,System architecture, Emerging technologies

Experience and Mentorship:

- Demonstrate at least 3 years of expertise as an Architect or technical leader, overseeing architecture plans and decisions, as well as coordinating and guiding team members.- Contributed to the transition of legacy software products to cutting-edge technologies.- Designed boilerplate templates/frameworks for core modules in SAAS products, ensuring security, logging, and debugging functionalities.- Deep understanding of software testing techniques and strategies. Familiarity with modern testing approaches and Microservice testing. Ability to design an automated pipeline (CI/CD)- Hands-on experience with at least one modern programming language- Work with development team to produce Proof of Concepts in high-risk areas to de-risk architecture.

Qualifications:

A relevant degree, such as Bachelor’s or master's in computer science, Information Technology, or any relevant qualifications.
