The Oracle ATG Commerce position plays a crucial role in our organization, responsible for the development and maintenance of our e-commerce platform.

This individual will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions utilizing Oracle ATG Commerce to meet business needs and enhance the customer experience.

The role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, Java programming, and the ability to solve complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Oracle ATG Commerce.

- Design and develop efficient, scalable, and reusable software components for the e-commerce platform.

- Implement customizations and extensions within the Oracle ATG Commerce framework.

- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the reliability and performance of the e-commerce platform.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software modules to ensure high-quality delivery.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Stay updated with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies.

- Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

- Identify and address technical debt and system performance bottlenecks.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and maintenance.

- Document technical specifications and system architecture.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly.

- Collaborate with third-party vendors for system integrations and solutions.

- Ensure compliance with security and data protection best practices.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven 7+ years experience in developing e-commerce solutions using Oracle ATG Commerce.

- Proficiency in Oracle ATG Web Commerce, including the ATG Dynamo framework, ATG Repository, and ATG Servlet Beans.

- Strong Java development skills, as ATG is based on Java.

- Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js, depending on project requirements.

- Proficiency in Java programming and web application development.

- Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration.

- Familiarity with performance optimization and scalability concepts.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Experience in system integration and API development is a plus.

- Certification in Oracle ATG Commerce is desirable.
