Job Summary :

The Reporting Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights to internal and external stakeholders. This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand reporting requirements, utilising reporting tools and technologies, and ensuring that reports align with business objectives.

Responsibilities :

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.

2. Design and develop reports and dashboards using reporting tools such as Tableau, Excel and google slides.

3. Analyze data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting outputs.

4. Create and maintain documentation for reporting processes, including data sources, transformations, and report specifications.

5. Customize and configure reporting tools to meet specific business needs and user requirements.

6. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports to internal and external clients.

7 . Provide training and support to end-users on accessing and interpreting reports.

8. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics.

9. Collaborate with other data and analytics professionals to optimize data infrastructure and improve reporting capabilities.

10 . Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting processes and efficiency.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Information Systems, or Computer Science.

2. Proven experience (3+ years) in designing and developing reports using reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

3. Proficient in SQL and data manipulation to extract and transform data for reporting purposes.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

5. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

6. Familiarity with data visualization best practices.

7. Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is a plus.

8. Certifications in relevant reporting tools are desirable.
