working with a National Political Party.
Position Overview:
We are seeking talented translators procient in multiple languages to join our team. The ideal
candidates will have excellent language skills and cultural and Political understanding, enabling
accurate and culturally sensitive translations across various mediums.
Responsibilities:
1. Translate written, audio, and video content from English to (specic language) and vice versa.
2. Ensure translated content maintains the intended meaning, style, and tone of the original text.
3. Conduct research to ensure proper understanding of specialised terminology.
4. Collaborate with editors and other team members to ensure high-quality translations.
5. Proofread translated texts for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
6. Adapt translations to target audience demographics.
7. Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. Maintain condentiality and sensitivity to content.
Requirements:
1. Prociency in English and one or more of the following language: Kannada.
2. Proven experience as a translator or similar role.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and the target language(s).
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Political and Lingual sensitivity and awareness.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related eld is an added advantage.
8. Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualications:
1. Certication in translation or interpretation.
2. Experience in specialised elds such as legal, political, technical, or marketing translation.
3. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
