Minutes integrates with multiple Diligentproducts and is key to the overall Modern Governance technologystrategy. It is a servicebased architecture written primarily inRuby on Rails (backend services) and React (Webfront end).The ideal candidatewill have proven ability to apply effective analysis designprogramming and testing skills to produce and maintain scaled SaaSsoftware solutions. They will be driven resourceful and not feelintimidated by significant technical challenges. They will want totake ownership of the features they are working on and proactivelydrive improvements in software design and development practices.They will love to automate away manual toil and be interested inchampioning observability continuous integration and deploymentscalability security and other nonfunctional requirements into oursystem. They will value team culture and see their success as theteam s success. KeyResponsibilities

Support multiple teamsin setting technical direction and strategy.Influencing the engineering culture of theteams. Focusing on continuous learning improvement andcollaboration.Be the technical mentor andcoach of the crossfunctional team and individuals.Design code review and test assigned featuresand user stories in accordance with the agile methodology employedby Diligent.Collaborate with the productowners in the analysis and documentation of technical requirementsand user stories.Influence the design of thefuture state of the product designing and delivering prototypes.Producing highlevel technical design artifactsfor major storiesCreate high qualityoperational and system documentation as required.Communicate effectively with other developmentteams production operations and several other technology groups toensure regular smooth delivery of working software to production.RequiredExperience/Skills

710 years ofexperience in a handson development role at a commercial softwarecompanyExpertise in designing andimplementing distributed enterprise software solutions.Experience with eventbase architecturesmessaging patterns and microservicesStrongexperience with Ruby on Rails.Knowledge ofReact TypeScript (Experience in other modern web frameworks such asVue.js Angular.OOJSES6 may be an acceptable substitute)Experience with AWS services and solutionsUnderstanding of CI/CD concepts and experiencewith at least one CI/CD systemFamiliaritywith containers Kubernetes and Helm chartsSuccessfully manage own workload and takepersonal responsibility and ownership for delivery behaviors andselfimprovementExperience in mentoring andtechnical interviewingExperience withAgile/SCRUM/Lean software developmentPreferredExperience/SkillsSignificantexperience with AWS and familiarity with cloudarchitecture.Proficiency with AWS CloudDevelopment Kit (CDK) or similar infrastructure as codetools.Demonstrated experience in CI/CDpipeline setup andmaintenance.Experiencein leading development projects and mentoring junior teammembers.rubyon rails,ruby,aws,react.js,angular
