Purpose of the position
a. Why the positions exists ?
b. What will happen if there is no one in the position (no one performs the work)?
This role will be responsible for Preparing Industry and digitalisation road map for operations and integration of the Horizontal and vertical value chain in line with the PVBU road map. 
Drive Implementation of Industry and digitalisations across manufacturing operations. Act as BAL for Operations and SPOC for DATOM
Dimensions of the position
Financial: Responsible for IT Spend of PV Operations and IT Infrastructure planning Budgets (5-10 Crs/ Annum)
Personal Profile
Education Graduation in Engineering (MBA Operations / Finance preferred)

Relevant Experience :
1. with 5-8 years of experience
In depth knowledge of IOT and Business Analytics, Manufacturing Processes and project management, People management, Enterprise, IT and OT systems, IT Networks, Communication Protocols,

Key Responsibilities :

1 IOT and Business Analytics Plan:
• Define the Operational level business problem statement, solution Framework, Capturing the business Use cases & Solution requirements
• Prepare Annual Plan by engaging with with all stakeholders to plan the business' exact requirements and determine exactly what the business wants from the IoT project.
• Conduct technical discussions and analysis with SMEs, Programmers & Engineers, which will help to improve the efficiency of business operations 
• Plan vs Actual
2 Budgeting :
• Plan and propose budget for projects ;
Resource costs, IoT developer salary costs, testing costs and capital for the rolling out of the project • Cost Target Vs Actual
3 Operational efficiency and automation:
• Track down which tasks are redundant and implement the right devices and software to automate these tasks.
• Plan and prepare data and insights to propose ideas that fit the business' requirements. 
• Provide solution / engage with vendor for Procurement and deployment of IoT Devices/systems
• Conceptualize and plan Prototyping of the solution as a xPOC
• Assess any risks throughout the development stages, the implementation feasibility, the project's functional strength and any potential roadblocks.
• Work on scalability and Horizontal deployment across other locations
• Onboard new capabilities to support Business and Enabling Functions in achieving the short and long term roadmap
• Communicate with stakeholders throughout the different phases of the project
• Ensure project is completed on time and within the IoT cost budget. • % reduction in costs

4 Facility Monitoring Health and Efficiency:
• Design combination of IoT sensors and data analytics to determine when equipment requires maintenance by measuring vibration, heat, and other important figures. 
• Develop smart equipment that send messages to operators about potential breakdowns, wear, and delivery schedules.
• Predict when assets need to be serviced, which allows maintenance to be scheduled at the optimal time, thus reducing breakdowns and saving maintenance costs.
• Downtime reduction

5 DATOM Readiness
• Data Management and integration as per group guidelines
• Develop road map to migrate to next level of data maturity as per organizational startegy • DATOM Data maturity level for Operational data
