Delivery Manager

Job Description Position Overview As an Agile Delivery Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams across a wide range of technical domains to ensure successful delivery of client engagements. You are responsible for creating an environment where teams can do their best work.  This includes removing impediments, enabling collaboration, and guiding clients and teams in Agile ways of working. This role blends delivery leadership, client management, project management, team coaching, and hands-on facilitation to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery. Office Location -202, 3rd Eye II, Opposite Parimal Garden, Panchavati Road, Chimanlal Girdharlal Rd, Ahmedabad, Gujarat Duration & Type of Employment - Full Time Work Style - Hybrid - Ahmedabad City Requirements Delivery Leadership Lead end-to-end delivery for engagements spanning software engineering, cloud, DevOps, data engineering, and architecture. Develop delivery plans, sprint plans, roadmaps, and progress dashboards. Manage delivery risks, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints; drive mitigation and contingency planning. Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives). Ensure engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing strategies, cloud-native patterns, documentation) are integrated into delivery workflows. Client & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary delivery contact for client stakeholders, building strong, trust-based relationships. Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies with clarity and transparency. Work closely with client Product Owners, architects, and engineering leads to align priorities with business objectives. Set and manage expectations on scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Team Leadership & Agile Coaching Support and mentor multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, DevOps specialists, and data professionals. Coach teams and clients in Agile methodologies and modern delivery practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, psychological safety, and accountability. Facilitate conflict resolution and optimize team dynamics. Operational Excellence Contribute to internal delivery frameworks, playbooks, templates, and reusable practices. Track and report key delivery metrics (velocity, throughput, quality, risk profile, budget health). Promote modern engineering and DevOps practices to increase predictability and reduce cycle time. Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery, Scrum Master, or project management roles. Experience of having delivered complex IT projects on time and to budget. Proven experience leading teams delivering software engineering, cloud, DevOps, or data engineering projects. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), Lean principles, and iterative delivery models. Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups across business and technical domains. Proficiency with delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Miro. Preferred Background in a technical role (software engineering, QA, DevOps, cloud, or data engineering). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps/automation practices. Certifications such as CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or ICP-ACC. Experience delivering in a professional services or consulting environment. Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
