Senior Human Resources Generalist:-Position Overview
The Senior Human Resources (HR) Generalist will serve as a key HR partner, managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and compliance matters. This role will support the organization in driving HR policies, talent management, performance development, and employee engagement initiatives. The position requires a proactive professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple HR functions independently.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- Manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Oversee statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Factories Act, etc.).
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and lead end-to-end recruitment.
- Conduct interviews, negotiate offers, and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Develop and manage talent pipelines for critical roles.
3. Employee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Counsel employees and provide guidance to managers on HR policies and disciplinary actions.
4. Performance & Talent Management
- Support the performance appraisal cycle, KRA/KPI tracking, and development planning.
- Partner with managers to identify training needs and support learning & development initiatives.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Administer payroll inputs, attendance management, and benefits programs.
- Benchmark compensation trends and recommend improvements.
6. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain HR dashboards and generate reports on attrition, recruitment, and workforce planning.
- Analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/services sector.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and HRMS tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (SAP/ERP/HRMS).
