At ANZ, we’re shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.About the RoleThe Customer Tax Transparency (CTT) competency is responsible for delivering business capability to enable ANZ to comply with its tax /compliance reporting obligations under Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and other similar regimes.Role Summary:As part of the CTT Business Analysis Competency team, the Senior Business Analyst (BA) works on the business side of initiatives and engages with business stakeholders to analyse and synthesise information, understand the organisational context and complete business analysis activities.These activities include documenting requirements and functional specifications for system changes and enhancements, associated business process changes, and working with the Change Team to ensure business preparedness and readiness to adopt the changes through fit-for-purpose training of impacted members, creating guides and communications to impacted members.The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and management skills to ensure a clear understanding of the program’s objectives, benefits and deliverables.The role requires delivery of innovative, commercial, strategic and business-oriented solutions to support ANZ’s business strategies and manage and mitigate legal and compliance risks. Experience in FATCA, CRS, Anti-Money Laundering/Know your Customer (AML/KYC) or Compliance related projects will be highly regarded.Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. What will your day look like

Ensure timely completion of assigned activities through collaborative efforts.

Develop clear, accurate requirements considering financial implications.

Lead requirements gathering and business process design for key initiatives.

Facilitate end-to-end delivery and transition to Business as Usual (BAU) with Change Management Team.

Adhere to ANZ policies and procedures, while recognizing and mitigating risks.

Cultivate strong relationships with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders.

Collaborate efficiently to understand and present requirements effectively.

Foster cross-team collaboration and alignment across business units.

Collaborate with BA peers to enhance the BA profession.

Mentor junior BAs, review their work, and present complex topics to senior stakeholders.

Promote a positive team culture with open communication and alignment to ANZ values.
