Responsibilities :

Data Ingestion & Processing : Design and build robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Flink, or Kafka to ingest, transform, and process massive datasets from various sources.

Big Data Technologies : Utilize your expertise in big data frameworks like Hadoop, YARN, and HDFS to manage, store, and analyze large volumes of data efficiently.

Data Modeling & Warehousing : Design and implement scalable data models for data warehouses and data lakes, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

Big Data Analytics : Collaborate with data scientists to develop and execute big data analytics pipelines to extract meaningful insights from data.

Performance Optimization : Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines and applications for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.

Cloud Expertise : Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying and managing big data solutions is a plus.

Scripting & Automation : Leverage scripting languages (e.g. Python, Shell) to automate data processing tasks and infrastructure management.

Problem-Solving & Debugging : Troubleshoot complex issues within big data pipelines and applications, ensuring smooth data flow and analysis.

Communication & Collaboration : Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaborate closely with data scientists, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on big data technologies.

- Proven experience designing and building data pipelines using big data frameworks like Apache Spark, Flink, or Kafka.

- In-depth knowledge of big data storage solutions like Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) and data warehousing concepts.

- Experience with big data analytics tools and libraries (e.g.PySpark, Hive, Pig).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for big data deployments (a plus).

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Shell for data manipulation and automation.

- Strong understanding of database systems including SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in big data technologies.
