Team Manager - Engine Assembly Apply now » Date: 20 Nov 2025 Location: Haridwar, IN, #job-location.job-location-inline { display: inline; } Company: Hero Motocorp Function Plant Operations Pay Band E4 to M2 Pay Grade A1 Role As a team manager you will be a part of the Engine assembly and will report to the Section Head-Engine AssemblyThe purpose of your role will be handling Shift production in-charge of Engine Assembly and Meet Daily Production Target of Engine Assembly with optimum utilization of resources. A purpose driven role for you Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:1. Controlling Engine Production in shift to achieve daily Production Targets2. Achieving Customer Delight through best quality control practices in shop floor3. Strengthening DWM activities on Shop Floor4. Improving Operational Efficiency by accelerating TPM Activities5. Proper manpower Handling6. Planning Desired Output in Case of Unplanned Breakdown’s7. Managing Production target during festival holidays8. 100% Adherence to Manual Checkpoints on Assembly Line A Day in the life 1. Ensure Smooth Running of Production as per target.2. Ensure control of line stoppages3. Ensure Reduction in Flow of Defects to Customer4. Ensure All Safety Standard Operating Procedures are followed on line5. Ensure Improvement of Profitability through Controlling Cost parameters6. Improving TPM parameters 3s, JH scores and OLE scores of Assembly Lines7. Ensure Emotional Connect Between Mentor and Mentee8. Imparting Training and aiding OJT9. Conducting Skill Mitigation Academic Qualification & Experience B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 2-4 years of relevant work experience Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6-10 Years of relevant work experience  Technical Skills/Knowledge 1. MS Office, SAP & PPT2. 5S, TPM, SPC & TPS3. Understanding of organizational context, policies, needs and expectation of all interested parties4. Defect Handling and In Built Quality5. Maintenance and development of tools and fixtures6. Ensuring Safe Working Environment Behavioural Skills 1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach5. Planning and decision making.
