Job Summary
Support GMV senior manager in performing an independent validation of new and existing models that are used in risk management, capital calculation, stress testing etc. This includes but not limited to review of model development process including underlying assumptions & theoretical basis, quantitative assessment of model performance, documentation of validation finding and communicate to senior management in relevant forum

Risk Management
- Support GMV senior manager in performing an independent validation of new and existing models that are used in risk management, capital calculation, stress testing etc.
- Qualitative review of model development process including underlying assumptions & theoretical basis.
- Quantitative assessment of model performance via data evaluation and statistical testing.
- Documentation of validation findings and communication of results to senior management and presentation to relevant committees.
- Review regulatory requirements and industry practice regarding the models.
- Assist Head of Model Validation in addressing concerns or questions relating to the models
Governance
- Submission of model validation reports to relevant Model Assessment Committee
- Attend Model Assessment Committee(where requested)
Regulatory & Business Conduct

- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. - Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles: (Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.) *
- Serve as a Director of the Board
- Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

- SAS

Model Development
2-4 years of experience(overrall)
Qualifications
Education
- Strong technical and quantitative skills with academic background in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Econometrics
Certifications
- FRM and/or CFA qualifications are desirable.
Languages
- SAS / Python / R
- Strong technical and quantitative skills with academic background in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Econometrics
- Master's degree or higher qualification in a quantitative discipline, FRM and/or CFA qualifications are desirable.
- Python (or any other open source) used in Financial Crime modelling area.
- Solid experience in understanding of financial crime of the bank.
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skill with keen attention to details
- Multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity
