Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and creative Print Designer with 3 to 5 years of experience in the garment export industry. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Adobe Illustrator and be capable of developing innovative, market-relevant print designs tailored to international fashion markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop original textile and surface prints (all-over prints, placements, engineered designs, etc.) for various apparel categories.
  • Translate design briefs and trend inspirations into commercial print designs suitable for global markets.
  • Create and manage repeat patterns, colorways, and print mock-ups using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising and sampling teams to ensure design feasibility for production.
  • Stay updated with fashion trends, color forecasts, and buyer-specific requirements.
  • Prepare print files for sampling and bulk production, ensuring all technical specs and formats are met.
  • Work closely with fabric sourcing and printing vendors to ensure print quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain and organize print archives and design references for future use.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Print Designer in a garments export house or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is mandatory. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of fabric types, printing techniques, and garment construction.
  • Excellent sense of color, trend awareness, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous):

  • Experience working with international buyers or export clients.
  • Knowledge of other design software such as Adobe Photoshop or CorelDRAW.
  • Understanding of sustainable or digital printing methods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹45,000.00 per month
