Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.  What you'll build In your role as “IT Technology Services Specialist”, you are enabling the delivery of robust, downtime optimized, and highly automated lifecycle management activities operated within ECS (Enterprise Cloud Services). You will take ownership of integration scenarios and operational processes considering accelerated growth (RISE with SAP). Focus of your activities will be increasing automation area covering also all multi-cloud aspects (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform) with focus on High Availability solutions (HANA, Sybase ASE, Pacemaker Clusters) and integration scenarios along with stabilization improvements to help Operations to reduce manual effort, cost structure (lower TCO) and deliver faster services to our customers. Contribute to cloud-like innovation, standardized provisioning and maintenance activities for seamless customer experience, ideally hands-on experience for SAP system provisioning & operations on various databases with particular focus on HANA (on Pacemaker) and ASE Enhance lifecycle management procedures to reduce downtime by implementing effective failover strategies Optimize and stabilize NetWeaver lifecycle management procedures in a pro-active way leveraging analytical tools and capabilities Covering multi-cloud providers like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform Structure and coordinate activities, action plans incl. requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverables Create and align test plans, support and perform testing/validation and roll-out activities Change Management tracking of technical topics via Jira Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network Support technology-related projects in complex cloud environments Manage relationship between different stakeholder groups inside and outside ECS Delivery What you bring > 7+ Yrs experience in SAP BASIS skills, Database administration (HANA and DB2 preferred) and system operations know-how, ideally in multi-cloud environment with Pacemaker knowledge Minimum 5 Yrs experience in High Availability (Replication) related topics . Professional experience in Cloud infrastructure, system administration or as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation Best practices experience in an SAP application / technology / solution (NetWeaver) Knowledge in the design and structuring of integrated E2E Lifecycle Management Procedures Project management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Willingness and experience working in international teams Good understanding of and SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.) Good understanding of Linux (SLES and RHEL) with Pacemaker in SAP environments Where you belong SAP Enterprise Cloud Services accelerates and simplifies our customers’ business transformation by running their SAP ERP value stack with a world-class level of availability, security & resilience on their preferred cloud infrastructure.
