Role Overview:

You will play a pivotal role in managing US patent prosecution initiatives for esteemed technology companies and industry experts across diverse sectors including Software, AI/ML, Wireless Communication, Networking, Virtualization, VLSI, Semiconductors, and Electric Vehicles. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate innovation roadmaps and safeguard intellectual property through meticulous prosecution of patent applications.

Job description:

  • Analyze Office Actions and build a strategy
  • Independently carry out US patent prosecution assignments , ensuring alignment with clients' innovation strategies
  • Collaborate closely with the team, reviewing work, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations in terms of quality and timelines
  • US/EP/IN patent prosecution for some of the marquee technology companies
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team, providing mentorship and support to elevate team members' skills and expertise
  • Ensure smooth execution of simultaneous multiple project deliveries
  • Stay abreast of evolving USPTO/MPEP case laws and regulatory changes, imparting knowledge to the team and ensuring compliance in all patent-related activities
  • Participate in client calls to discuss prosecution strategies

Desired Skillset:

  • Proficiency in US patent prosecution across a spectrum of technology domains
  • Knowledge of USPTO, EPO, and Indian Patent Office guidelines and case laws
  • Ability to quickly understand and grasp complex/cutting-edge technologies within hi-tech including VLSI, Semiconductor, Emerging Technology (EVs, AI, ML, blockchain, deeptech, etc.), Telecom (LTE/4G and beyond)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (an absolute must)
  • Ability to think independently and in a team to understand problems & suggest solutions

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors/Masters in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Computer Science
  • IP Experience: 2-4 years in patent prosecution
