Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Commissioning Engineer at SALICO in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of equipment. The role involves ensuring the proper functioning and performance of machinery through electrical engineering and testing.


       · To check that all the machines are finished mechanically.

· To check the machine parameters and to check if the tolerances within guaranteed value. In case of any deviation from defined parameter, necessary adjustment to be supervised.

· Responsible for end-to-end overseeing of Erection & Commissioning activities which would include time, cost, quality, design considerations and timely execution of the activities at site.

· Ensure all and follow safety norms at sites.

· Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on Erection & Commissioning process.

· Study Technical Contracts to understand the Project requirements and to raise query in case of any observation.

· Preparation of Commissioning Plan for all equipments.

· Ensure all Commissioning Manual put in place.

· Collection of all documents required for site execution.

· Study of documents to have better understanding and preparation before leaving to site.

·  Open Package Inspection at site & feedback on short supplies and requirements of materials to Project Manager.

·  See the completion of equipment erection and commissioning and to prepare Protocol of erection / commissioning.

·  Responsible for adherence to various compliance norms for various projects

·  Monitor and provide day-to-day site implementation and management.

·  Responsible for site activity, coordination with vendors / technical collaborators, contractors, team of the engineers from inception to Project Execution

·  Handling customer queries & complaints effectively

·  Guides, by providing expertise and supervision at site

·  Coordinate with Project, design department & customer for erection & commissioning activities to complete project on time Co-ordinate with sub- contractors/ third parties in case of any discrepancies and to ensure timely execution of site activities.

·  Study the functional description and in coordination with Process Engineering team

·  Establishing equipment Performance

·  Completion of PAT and FAT

·  Site closure as per the contractual obligation



Qualifications:


Mechanical/Metallurgy Engineer.
