hands-on, control-driven, and execution-focused Program Manager
to lead our New Product Development efforts.

 Role Overview

This is a
mission-critical role
responsible for managing the
end-to-end product lifecycle
– from concept to commercialization – across our EV, Solar, and Battery product lines. The Program Manager will be the
single point of control
for R&D projects, managing timelines, budgets, vendors, and reporting directly to the MD.

 Key Responsibilities Program & Project Execution

  • Lead new product development across
    EV Chargers, Solar Inverters, Battery Packs, and Energy Systems
  • Define and drive
    project timelines, deliverables, and budgets
    with full accountability
  • Create and maintain
    dashboards, risk logs, Gantt charts
    , and weekly status reports for MD review
  • Establish
    milestone-based control mechanisms
    aligned with business goals

 Vendor & Product Testing Oversight

  • Develop and qualify vendors for critical components; drive
    sample-to-approval
    cycles
  • Coordinate
    certification and compliance testing
    (BIS, ARAI, CE, IEC, etc.)
  • Monitor and lead
    field testing, quality validation, and technical issue resolution
  • Ensure
    design-for-manufacturing (DFM)
    and cost-effective BOM finalization

 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D, SCM, QA, Design, and Production teams for aligned execution
  • Own
    product development reviews
    , cross-functional meetings, and escalation handling
  • Liaise with marketing/sales to ensure
    product readiness for market

 Reporting & Governance

  • Build
    real-time dashboards
    tracking KPIs, timelines, delays, and cost status
  • Prepare
    executive summary reports
    for MD and leadership team
  • Drive program discipline through
    documentation, SOPs, and process frameworks

 Ideal Candidate Profile

Education
: B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field

(MBA preferred but not mandatory)

Experience
: 10–15 years in R&D or NPD in
renewable energy, EV, or electronics
manufacturing

Domain Depth
: Must have hands-on knowledge of
EV charger tech, solar systems, or battery storage

 Key Skills & Attributes

  • Strong command over
    product development lifecycle
    , especially in electrical/electronics-based systems
  • Experience using
    project management tools
    : MS Project, Excel Dashboards, Jira, Trello
  • Proven ability to
    control project variables
    – cost, quality, timeline, vendor readiness
  • Understanding of
    testing standards
    , certifications, and product approval processes
  • Excellent communication and
    CxO-level reporting skills
  • Ability to drive
    cross-functional alignment
    in fast-paced settings
  • Detail-oriented with a "whatever-it-takes" attitude toward program success
