Job Description :


Mugafi.com is seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our innovative team. We are looking for a developer with a strong foundation in back-end development, particularly experienced with Python, FastApi, Typescript, Next.js, Node.js, pymongo and MongoDB, The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who is passionate about developing scalable Backend applications and has a keen interest in AI and creative writing technologies.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain the backend of our AI-assisted writing tool, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in back-end development.

- Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using Python, FastApi, TypeScript, Node.js and MongoDB.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers and data scientists, to integrate various elements and functionalities.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software development.

- Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Qualification :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer.

- Strong proficiency in Python, and Typescript and experience with MongoDB.

- Experience with back-end technologies, specifically FastApi and Next.js.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and server-side languages.

- Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.

- Ensure security and data protection best practices are adhered to.
